Tax
What does tax add to a room in Galveston?
Hotel occupancy tax adds 15 percent. The State of Texas charges 6 percent of the cost of a room and the City of Galveston charges 9 percent.
Two nights in The Loom at $249 come to $498. Tax adds $74.70, for a total of $572.70.
Nothing else is added. There is no resort fee and no charge for parking, bikes, wifi or breakfast.

Check in and check out
Check in from 3 PM to 8 PM. Check out by 11 AM. Call if you will be late and we will leave the porch light on.
Minimum stay
Two nights on Friday and Saturday. Three nights for Dickens on The Strand and both Mardi Gras weekends.
Deposit and payment
One night is charged when we confirm your dates, by card, over the phone. The rest is charged at check in.
Cancelling
Cancel seven days ahead for a full refund. For festival weekends it is fourteen days.
Storms
A hurricane warning for Galveston during your dates means a full refund. See hurricane season.
Children
Children 12 and older are welcome in the house. Children of any age are welcome in The Darkroom.
Pets and smoking
No pets, and no smoking anywhere on the property.
